D. Demus:

Shipping was excellent. They appeared and asked if we would like to be taken to our kitchen. Yes!!! We gave them good advice to be generous without asking. Cooking very well. It looks beautiful. We have received a lot of compliments. 2 ovens, 6 burners and 1 stove for under $ 6000 is pretty good. The lighting is nice. All burners are powerful and heat liquids very quickly. They also cut quickly. Ignite is fast. We've had it for 5 months and cooked and baked just about everything. So much fun to cook. My previous 36 inch range that came with the house was gasoline and heavy duty, but it certainly wasn't professional. It's better than Viking. The ovens, next to the grills,

The inconveniences

Hit a star for simmering and oven shelving.

This is not a stewed thermador, closer to Viking. I cooked in both. Viking is always too hot. This Thor is definitely better. Thor's simmer still has a slight simmer, which is not good for delicate sauces. I wish the shelves were lower than the older models I've seen. These are very large. We are tall (5'10-6'3) so it doesn't matter. The oven racks DO NOT slide out easily as I recall. They DO NOT glide like high end.

Be careful. This unit is a beast. It kept blowing up our circuit. We had to plug it into its own separate outlet. We also need a special pipe for our gas pipeline. I mention this because I don't remember seeing it in the description.

I almost bought the 36 inch thermador with free dishwasher to replace our old 36, but wanted double ovens and a bigger statement for my money. We cut the granite and took out the cabinets ourselves. Easily. So it's worth it!

It takes some time to get used to iron. I am used to my cast iron baking tray with non-stick coating. Viking style. This one is made of stainless steel. It will stick unless you spray it with nonstick cooking spray or butter. Coconut, avocado and sometimes olive oil stick together. I was shocked. I bought the stainless steel spatulas and scrapers that work great. I love that you can cover the iron. Dark oil stains are difficult to remove. The ovens cook well. The smaller one is seems to take a little bit longer to cook. When the iron and oven have reached temperature, they turn off with the blue LED light.

I am especially happy for the money. It's spectacular!

We love this stove. We just had our kitchen remodeled and this is probably my favorite item. I feel some hesitant based on some of the reviews. But my contractor installed it in a few hours and we had no issues after about a month of use. My only complaint is that the baking tray works more like an oven than a burner. Which means that when you set the temperature, the iron burners go out when that temperature is reached. It will fire again eventually, but I think the design would be better if it worked like the burners. They should be on a high to low setting with continuous heat from the burner. Aside from this minor issue, we love the stove.

Jaden:

This stove looks great in our kitchen, but the temperature gauge didn't work from the start, so the oven was always 50-75 degrees cooler than it was set. Heat oven to the right temperature was always a guessing type game, and it took an aproximately hour to get it right, and In spite of this, some of the food were ruined. The seller tried to help me find someone to fix it (fix a new cooker) but there was no one around with experience with Thor cookers. I was able to find someone 4 hours away and they fixed the problem. This was about 8 months ago and it worked pretty well for a number of months, but now I have the same problem again and cannot convince the seller to answer my emails. For almost $ 5. 000 I would expect a fantastic range that works perfectly! Needless to say,

Blake Herrmann:

Very happy with its appearance and functionality! Buy a fan if the oven nut is on My ceiling fan is nearly 2000 CFM and I have an outside maker and muffler, and when it's running at full blast it sounds like an oven fan.

It has to find its way very quickly and like whistles. I can't find any information about it. I tend to find it so painful and run long after the oven is closed ... The pen spent a pretty penny making the near-silent path, and the rough oven fan is loud ...
